Love is..

"You must not make for yourself a carved image or a form like anything that is in the heavens above or that is on the earth underneath or that is in the waters under the earth. You must not bow down to them nor be induced to serve them, because I Jehovah your God am a God exacting exclusive devotion, bringing punishment for the error of fathers upon sons, upon the third generation and upon the fourth generation, in the case of those who hate me; but exercising loving-kindness toward the thousandth generation in the case of those who love me and keep my commandments. Exodus 20:4-6

GOD IS LOVE!

Everyone believing that Jesus is the Christ has been born from God, and everyone who loves the One that caused to be born loves him who has been born from that One. By this we gain the knowledge that we are loving the children of God, when we are loving God and doing His commandments. For this is what the love of God means, that we observe His commandments; and yet His commandments are not burdensome, because everything that has been born from God conquers the world. And this is the conquest that has conquered the world, our faith. Who is the one that conquers the world but he who has faith that Jesus is the Son of God. This is he that came by means of water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. And the spirit is that which is bearing witness, because the spirit is the truth. For there are three witness bearers, the spirit and the water and the blood, and the three are in agreement. 1 John 5:1-7

Biblically, love is viewed as the greatest of all the Christian graces. ***LOVE * LOVE * LOVE * LOVE * LOVE***In the introduction to Paul's treatment of the subject in 1 Corinthians 13, he refers to love as "the most excellent way.

Beloved ones, let us continue loving one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born from God and gains the knowledge of God. He that does not love has not come to know God, because God is love. By this the love of God was made manifest in our case, because God sent forth his only-begotten Son into the world that we might gain life through him. The love is in this respect, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent forth his Son as a propitiatory sacrifice for our sins. Beloved ones, if this is how God loved us, then we are ourselves under obligation to love one another. At no time has anyone beheld God. If we continue loving one another, God remains in us and his love is made perfect in us.

By this we gain the knowledge that we are remaining in union with him and he in union with us, because he has imparted his spirit to us. In addition, we ourselves have beheld and are bearing witness that the Father has sent forth his Son as Savior of the world. Whoever makes the confession that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, God remains in union with such one and they are union with God. And we ourselves have come to know and have believed the love that God has in our case.

God is love, and he that remains in love remains in union with God and God remains in union with him. This is how love has been made perfect with us, that we may have freeness of speech in the day of judgment. There is no fear in love, but perfect love throws fear outside, because fear exercises a restraint. Indeed, they that are under fear has not been made perfect in love. As for us, we love, because He first loved us.

If anyone makes the statement: "I love God," and yet is hating his brother, they are a liar. For those who do not love their brother, whom he has seen, cannot be loving God, whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that the one who loves God should be loving their brother also. 1 John 4:7-21

My son, my law do not forget, and my commandments may your heart observe, because length of days and years of life and peace will be added to you. May loving-kindness and trueness themselves not leave you. Tie them about your throat. Write them upon the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and good insight in the eyes of God and of earthling man. because the one whom Jehovah loves he reproves, even as a father does a son in whom he finds pleasure. Proverbs 3:1-4; 3:12

Now we request YOU, to have regard for those who are working hard among YOU and presiding over YOU in [the] Lord and admonishing YOU; and to give them more than extraordinary consideration in love because of their work. Be peaceable with one another. On the other hand, we exhort YOU, admonish the disorderly, speak consolingly to the depressed souls, support the weak, be long-suffering toward all. See that no one renders injury for injury to anyone else, but always pursue what is good toward one another and to all others. Always be rejoicing. Pray incessantly. In connection with everything give thanks. For this is the will of God in union with Christ Jesus respecting YOU. Do not put out the fire of the spirit. Do not treat prophesyings with contempt. Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine. Abstain from every form of wickedness. May the very God of peace sanctify YOU completely. And sound in every respect may the spirit and soul and body of YOU be preserved in a blameless manner at the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who is calling YOU is faithful, and he will also do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-24

Praise Jah, YOU people! Give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good; For his loving-kindness is to time indefinite. Who can utter the mighty performances of Jehovah, [Or] can make all his praise to be heard? Happy are those observing justice, Doing righteousness all the time. Remember me, O Jehovah, with the goodwill toward YOUR people. Take care of me with YOUR salvation, That I may see the goodness to YOUR chosen ones, That I may rejoice with rejoicing of YOUR name, That I may make my boast with YOUR inheritance. Psalms 106:1-5

"YOU heard that it was said, ‘You must love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ However, I say to YOU: Continue to love YOUR enemies and to pray for those persecuting YOU; that YOU may prove yourselves children of YOUR Father who is in the heavens, since he makes his sun rise upon wicked people and good and makes it rain upon righteous people and unrighteous. For if YOU love those loving YOU, what reward do YOU have? Are not also the tax collectors doing the same thing? Matthew 5:43-46

"Moreover, if your brother commits a sin, go lay bare his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. He said to him: "‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’ Matthew 18:15; 22:37

"And if YOU love those loving YOU, of what credit is it to YOU? Foreven the sinners love those loving them. And if YOU do good to those doing good to YOU, really of what credit is it to YOU? Even the sinners do the same. To the contrary, continue to love YOUR enemies and to do good and to lend [without interest], not hoping for anything back; and YOUR reward will be great, and YOU will be the children of the Most High, because he is kind toward the unthankful and wicked. Continue becoming merciful, just as YOUR Father is merciful. Luke 6:32-36

Most truly I say to YOU, He that exercises faith in me, that one also will do the works that I do; and he will do works greater than these, because I am going my way to the Father. Also, whatever it is that YOU ask in my name, I will do this, in order that the Father may be glorified in connection with the Son. If YOU ask anything in my name, I will do it. "If YOU love me, YOU will observe my commandments; and I will request the Father and he will give YOU another helper to be with YOU forever, the spirit of the truth, which the world cannot receive, because it neither beholds it nor knows it. YOU know it, because it remains with YOU and is in YOU. I shall not leave YOU bereaved. I am coming to YOU. A little longer and the world will behold me no more, but YOU will behold me, because I live and YOU will live. In that day YOU will know that I am in union with my Father and YOU are in union with me and I am in union with YOU. THOSE that have my commandments and observes them, that one is who loves me. In turn he that loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love those and will plainly show myself to them." If YOU remain in union with me and my sayings remain in YOU, ask whatever YOU hope and it will take place for YOU. My Father is glorified in this, that YOU keep bearing much fruit and prove yourselves my disciples. YOU are my friends if YOU do what I am commanding YOU. These things I command YOU, that YOU love one another. John 14:12-21; 15:7,8,14,17

THOSE that hate me hates also my Father. If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have both seen and hated me as well as my Father. But it is that the word written in their Law may be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’ When the helper arrives that I will send YOU from the Father, the spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, that one will bear witness about me; and YOU, in turn, are to bear witness, because YOU have been with me from when I began. John 15:23-27

Paul said: and the hope does not lead to disappointment; because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the holy spirit, which was given us. For, indeed, Christ, while we were yet weak, died for the ungodly at the appointed time. For hardly will anyone die for a righteous [man]; indeed, for the good [man], perhaps, someone even dares to die. But God recommends his own love to us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:5-8

Who will separate us from the love of the Christ? Will tribulation or distress or persecution or hunger or nakedness or danger or sword? Just as it is written: "For your sake we are being put to death all day long, we have been accounted as sheep for slaughtering." To the contrary, in all these things we are coming off completely victorious through him that loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God’s love that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39

Let [YOUR] love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is wicked, cling to what is good. In love have tender affection for one another. In showing honor to one another take the lead. Do not loiter at YOUR business. Be aglow with the spirit. Slave for Jehovah. Rejoice in the hope. Endure under tribulation. Persevere in prayer. Share with the holy ones according to their needs. Follow the course of hospitality. Keep on blessing those who persecute; be blessing and do not be cursing. Rejoice with people who rejoice; weep with people who weep. Be minded the same way toward others as to yourselves; do not be minding lofty things, but be led along with the lowly things. Do not become discreet in YOUR own eyes.

Return evil for evil to no one. Provide fine things in the sight of all men. If possible, as far as it depends upon YOU, be peaceable with all mankind. Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: "Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says Jehovah." But, "if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this you will heap fiery coals upon their head." Do not let yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering the evil with the good. Love does not work evil to one’s neighbor; therefore love is the law’s fulfillment. Romans 12:9-21; 13:10. But if anyone loves God, this one is known by him. But keep zealously seeking the greater gifts. And yet I show YOU a surpassing way. 1 Corinthians 8:1-3; 12:31

If I speak in the tongues of mankind and of angels but do not have love, I have become a sounding [piece of] brass or a clashing cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophesying and am acquainted with all the sacred secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all the faith so as to transplant mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my belongings to feed others, and if I hand over my body, that I may boast, but do not have love, I am not profited at all. Love is long-suffering and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. Now, however, there remain faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:1-8, 13

Pursue love, yet keep zealously seeking the spiritual gifts, but preferably that YOU may prophesy. Stay awake, stand firm in the faith, carry on with healthy teaching given us from our Lord Jesus. Let all YOUR affairs take place with love. 1 Corinthians 14:1; 16:13,14. Let each one do just as they have resolved in their heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, to the end that he may grant YOU according to the riches of his glory to be made his children YOU are inside with power through His Spirit, to have the Christ dwell through [YOUR] faith in YOUR hearts with love; that YOU may be rooted and established on the foundation, in order that YOU may be thoroughly able to grasp mentally with all the holy ones what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge, that YOU may be filled with all the fullness that God gives. Therefore, become imitators of God, as beloved children, and go on walking in love, just as the Christ also loved YOU and delivered himself up for YOU as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling odor. Be in subjection to one another in fear of Christ. Let wives be in subjection to their husbands as to the Lord, because a husband is head of his wife as the Christ also is head of the church and God is the Head of Christ, He being the Savior of [his] body. Be in subjection to the Christ, so let wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, continue loving YOUR wives, just as the Christ also loved the church and delivered up himself for it, that he might sanctify it, [GOD'S TEMPLE] cleansing it with the bath of water by means of the Word, that he might present the congregation to himself in its splendor, not having a spot or a wrinkle or any of such things, but that it should be holy and without blemish. In this way husbands ought to beloving their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself, for no man ever hated his own flesh; but he feeds and cherishes it, as the Christ also does the congregation, because we are members of his body. "For this reason a man will leave [his] father and [his] mother and he will stick to his wife, and the two will become one flesh." This sacred secret is great. Now I am speaking with honor to Christ and the congregation. Nevertheless, also, let each one of YOU individually so love his wife as he does himself; Ephesians 2:4; 3:16-19; 5:1,2; 21-33. For God is my witness of how I am yearning for all of YOU in such tender affection as Christ Jesus has. And this is what I continue praying, that YOUR love may abound yet more and more with accurate knowledge and full discernment; Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are of serious concern, whatever things are righteous, whatever things are chaste, whatever things are lovable, whatever things are well spoken of, whatever virtue there is and whatever praiseworthy thing there is, continue these. The things that YOU learned as well as accepted and heard and saw in connection with me, practice these; and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 1:8,9; 4:8,9. Thanking God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ always when we pray for YOU, since we heard of YOUR faith in connection with Christ Jesus and the love YOU have for all the holy ones because of the hope that is being reserved for YOU in the heavens. He delivered us from the authority of the darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, that their hearts may be comforted, that they may be harmoniously joined together in love and with a view to all the riches of the full assurance of [their] understanding, with a view to an accurate knowledge of the sacred secret of God, namely, Christ. Accordingly, as God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with the tender affections of compassion, kindness, lowliness of mind, mildness, and long-suffering. Continue putting up with one another and forgiving one another freely if anyone has a cause for complaint against another. Even as Jehovah freely forgave YOU, so do YOU also. But, besides all these things, [clothe yourselves with] love, for it is a perfect bond of union. YOU wives, be in subjection to [your] husbands, as it is becoming in [the] Lord. YOU husbands, keep on loving [your] wives and do not be bitterly angry with them. Colossians 1:3-5,13; 2:2; 3:12-14,18,19. Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus direct our way prosperously to YOU. Moreover, may the Lord cause YOU to increase, yes, make YOU abound, in love to one another and to all, even as we also do to YOU; May the Lord continue directing YOUR hearts successfully into the love of God and into the endurance for the Christ. 1 Thessalonians 3:11,12; 2 Thessalonians 3:5 . But YOU, beloved ones, by building up yourselves on YOUR most holy faith, and praying with holy spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love, while YOU are waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ with everlasting life in view. Jude 20,21

"ALMIGHTY GOD"

Jehovah YHWH God
Yahweh

Yahweh the Almighty God of Israel stands out as being absolutely apart from all others. He is unique. He is above no gods before Him. He is unique in existence, being he has no beginning and no end as The Alpha and Omega. Consider the snowflake, or the human fingerprint. Each is different from the next.

Yahweh His work's are infinitely ahead of all others. His Love is Agape. Thy works are Holy. And so with the angel's we too exclaim: "Holy, Holy, Holy!" Revelation 4:8

The name of this God is very important, for Jesus taught us to pray: Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name. Matthew 6:9 The first and most important thing we should all pray for is for God's name to be made holy. That name was made holy in the Bible some seven thousand times. So important is that name that, if your Bible does not use it you should seriously consider changing to a Bible that does. Open your Bible to the very first book called Genesis, chapter 2 and verse 4. Does it read as follows? This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time of their being created, in the day that Jehovah God made heaven and earth. Jehovah is the English translation for the name of God, which is the letters Y or J, H, W or V, H (YHWH or JHVH) in the Hebrew language of old. Some modern Bibles have translated this name as Yehoweh, also a good translation, but Jehovah is the most common translation. For a Bible to translate the name of God as Lord or God is wrong. It would not be sanctifying that name which Jesus told us to do as the first and most important thing to pray for, would it? Just using the title of Lord for God confuses people into thinking that the Lord Jesus is God. God's name Jehovah has special meaning. It means that God exists and causes to become what to become so as to finish what he has promised. Again we understand from this that God cannot die! But Jehovah is in truth God. He is the living God and the King to time indefinite. Jeremiah 10:10.

There are so many wrong ideas about God, it is hard to know where to begin. However, "God Cannot Die!" is a good place to start. In fact, it is the basis for an introduction to Christianity also no one has seen him, but His only begotten Son Jesus. God sent his angels in the first person to speak for him, the only one's who heard God's voice were Adam and Eve, and of course His Son Yahshua.

When A´bram got to be ninety-nine years old, then Jehovah appeared to A´bram and said to him: "I am God Almighty. Walk before me and prove yourself faultless. And I will give my covenant between me and you, that I may multiply you very, very much." Genesis 17:1,2. And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them. Exodus 6:3. God himself pervert judgment, Or will the Almighty himself pervert righteousness? Job 8:3. "Howl, YOU people, for the day of Jehovah is near! As a despoiling from the Almighty it will come. Isaiah 13:6. "I kept on beholding until there were thrones placed and the Ancient of Days sat down. His clothing was white just like snow, and the hair of his head was like clean wool. His throne was flames of fire; its wheels were a burning fire. Daniel 7:9

Jehovah God Almighty: The Big Dipper

Jesus God's Son said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19:14

John to the seven congregations that are in the [district of] Asia: May YOU have undeserved kindness and peace from "The One who is and who was and who is coming,"and from the seven spirits that are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, "the Faithful Witness," "The firstborn from the dead," and "The Ruler of the kings of the earth." To him that loves us and that loosed us from our sins by means of his own bloodand he made us to be a kingdom, priests to his God and Father—yes, to him be the glory and the might forever. Amen.

Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him. Yes, Amen.

The Son Of Man Is Coming Again In His Father's Glory Mark 8:38-9:1 "'If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.' And he said to them, 'I will tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.'"

"I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga," says Jehovah God, "the One who is and who was and who is coming, the Almighty." Revelation 1:4-8

After these things I saw, and, look! an opened door in heaven, and the first voice that I heard was as of a trumpet, speaking with me, saying: "Come on up here, and I shall show you the things that must take place."

After these things I immediately came to be in [the power of the] spirit: and, look! a throne was in its position in heaven, and there is one seated upon the throne.

And the one seated is, in appearance, like a jasper stone and a precious red-colored stone, and round about the throne [there is] a rainbow like an emerald in appearance. Revelaton 4:1-8

And round about the throne [there are] twenty-four thrones, and upon these thrones [I saw] seated twenty-four elders dressed in white outer garments, and upon their heads golden crowns. And out of the throne there are proceeding lightnings and voices and thunders; and [there are] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, and these mean the seven spirits of God. And before the throne there is, as it were, a glassy sea like crystal.

And in the midst of the throne and around the throne [there are] four living creatures that arefull of eyes in front and behind. And the first living creature is like a lion, and the second living creature is like a young bull, and the third living creature has a face like a man’s, and the fourth living creature is like a flying eagle. And as for the four living creatures, each one of them respectively has six wings; round about and underneath they are full of eyes. And they have no rest day and night as they say: "Holy, holy, holy is Jehovah God,the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming."

And the twenty-four elders who were seated before God upon their thrones fell upon their faces and worshiped God, saying: "We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the One who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as King. But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time for the dead to be judged, and to give [their] reward to your slaves the prophets and to the holy ones and to those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth." Revelation 11:16-18

And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, and he had everlasting good news to declare as glad tidings to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people, saying in a loud voice: "FEAR God and give him glory, because the hour of the judgment by him has arrived, and so worship the One who made the heaven and the earth and sea and fountains of waters." And he said to me: "They have come to pass! I am the Al´pha and the O·me´ga, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free. Revelation 14:6,7; 21:6

And I saw in heaven another sign, great and wonderful, seven angels with seven plagues. These are the last ones, because by means of them the anger of God is brought to a finish. And I saw what seemed to be a glassy sea mingled with fire, and those who come off victorious from the wild beast and from its image and from the number of its name standing by the glassy sea, having harps of God. And they are singing the song of Moses the slave of God and the song of the Lamb, saying:"Great and wonderful are your works, Jehovah God, the Almighty. Righteous and true are your ways, King of eternity.Who will not really fear you, Jehovah, and glorify your name, because you alone are loyal? For all the nations will come and worship before you, because your righteous decrees have been made manifest." Revelation 15:1-4

And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls that were full of the anger of God, who lives forever and ever. Revelation 15:7

And I heard a loud voice out of the sanctuary say to the seven angels: "Go and pour out the seven bowls of the anger of God into the earth." And the first one went off and poured out his bowl into the earth. And a hurtful and malignant ulcer came to be upon the men that had the mark of the wild beast and that were worshiping its image. And the second one poured out his bowl into the sea. And it became blood as of a dead man, and every living soul died, [yes,] the things in the sea. And the third one poured out his bowl into the rivers and the fountains of the waters. And they became blood. And I heard the angel over the waters say: "You, the One who is and who was, the loyal One, are righteous, because you have rendered these decisions, because they poured out the blood of holy ones and of prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. They deserve it." And I heard the altar say: "Yes, Jehovah God, the Almighty, true and righteous are your judicial decisions."

And the fourth one poured out his bowl upon the sun; and to [the sun] it was granted to scorch the men with fire. And the men were scorched with great heat, but they blasphemed the name of God, who has the authority over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give glory to him. And the fifth one poured out his bowl upon the throne of the wild beast. And its kingdom became darkened, and they began to gnaw their tongues for [their] pain, but they blasphemed the God of heaven for their pains and for their ulcers, and they did not repent of their works. And the sixth one poured out his bowl upon the great river Eu·phra´tes, and its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun. And I saw three unclean inspired expressions [that looked] like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the wild beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. They are, in fact, expressions inspired by demons and perform signs, and they go forth to the kings of the entire inhabited earth, to gather them together to the war of the great day of God the Almighty. Revelation 16:1-14

YHWH has sent His only begotten Son

Yahweh the Almighty unto the prophets inspired by His Holy Spirit His Son's coming: That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Genesis 22:17,18; 49:10.

For God sent forth his Son into the world, not for him to judge the world, but for the world to be saved through him. He that exercises faith in him is not to be judged. He that does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. Now this is the basis for judgment, that the light has come into the world but men have loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were wicked. For he that practices vile things hates the light and does not come to the light, in order that his works may not be reproved. But he that does what is true comes to the light, in order that his works may be made manifest as having been worked in harmony with God." John 3:16-21

Therefore Jehovah himself will give YOU men a sign: Look! The maiden herself will actually become pregnant, and she is giving birth to a son, and she will certainly call his name Im·man´u·el. Butter and honey he will eat by the time that he knows how to reject the bad and choose the good. For before the boy will know how to reject the bad and choose the good, the ground of whose two kings you are feeling a sickening dread will be left entirely. For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and by means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this. Isaiah 7:14-16; 9:6,7

And upon him the spirit of Jehovah must settle down, the spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the spirit of counsel and of mightiness, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Jehovah; "And in loving-kindness a throne will certainly be firmly established; and one must sit down upon it in trueness in the tent of David, judging and seeking justice and being prompt in righteousness." Look! My servant, on whom I keep fast hold! My chosen one, [whom] my soul has approved! I have put my spirit in him. Justice to the nations is what he will bring forth. Isaiah 11:2; 16:5; 42:1

For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go forth, and those who escape from Mount Zion. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this. 2 Kings 19:31 [Saying:] "I, even I, have installed my king Upon Zion, my holy mountain." Let me refer to the decree of Jehovah; He has said to me: "You are my son; I, today, I have become your father. Ask of me, that I may give nations as your inheritance And the ends of the earth as your own possession. You will break them with an iron scepter, As though a potter’s vessel you will dash them to pieces." Serve Jehovah with fear And be joyful with trembling. Kiss the son, that He may not become incensed And YOU may not perish [from] the way, For his anger flares up easily. Happy are all those taking refuge in him. God is your throne to time indefinite, even forever; The scepter of your kingship is a scepter of uprightness. You have loved righteousness and you hate wickedness. That is why God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of exultation more than your partners. In his days the righteous onewill sprout, And the abundance of peace until the moon is no more. Ps 2:6-9; 2:11,12; 45:6,7; 72:7

"And you, O Beth´le·hem Eph´ra·thah, the one too little to get to be among the thousands of Judah, from you there will come out to me the one who is to become ruler in Israel, whose origin is from early times, from the days of time indefinite. "Therefore he will give them up until the time that she who is giving birth actually gives birth. And the rest of his brothers will return to the sons of Israel. "And he will certainly stand and do shepherding in the strength of Jehovah, in the superiority of the name of Jehovah his God. And they will certainly keep dwelling, for now he will be great as far as the ends of the earth. And this one must become peace. Mic 5:2-5

"Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: "Not for YOUR sakes am I doing [it], O house of Israel, but for my holy name, which YOU have profaned among the nations where YOU have come in." Eze 36:22. "And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite; Then it was that to Daniel in a night vision the secret was revealed. Consequently Daniel himself blessed the God of heaven. Daniel was answering and saying: “Let the name of God become blessed from time indefinite even to time indefinite, for wisdom and mightiness—for they belong to him. And he is changing times and seasons, removing kings and setting up kings, giving wisdom to the wise ones and knowledge to those knowing discernment. He is revealing the deep things and the concealed things, knowing what is in the darkness; and with him the light does dwell. Da 2:44,19-22

"And during that time Mi´cha·el will stand up, the great prince who is standing in behalf of the sons of your people. And there will certainly occur a time of distress such as has not been made to occur since there came to be a nation until that time. And during that time your people will escape, every one who is found written down in the book. And there will be many of those asleep in the ground of dust who will wake up, these to indefinitely lasting life and those to reproaches [and] to indefinitely lasting abhorrence. "And the ones having insight will shine like the brightness of the expanse; and those who are bringing the many to righteousness, like the stars to time indefinite, even forever. "And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of [the] end. Many will rove about, and the [true] knowledge will become abundant." And I saw, I Daniel, and, look! there were two others standing, one on the bank here of the stream and the other on the bank there of the stream. Then one said to the man clothed with the linen, who was up above the waters of the stream: "How long will it be to the end of the wonderful things? And I began to hear the man clothed with the linen, who was up above the waters of the stream, as he proceeded to raise his right [hand] and his left [hand] to the heavens and to swear by the One who is alive for time indefinite: "It will be for an appointed time, appointed times and a half. And as soon as there will have been a finishing of the dashing of the power of the holy people to pieces, all these things will come to their finish. " Now as for me, I heard, but I could not understand; so that I said: "O my lord, what will be the final part of these things?" And he went on to say: "Go, Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of [the] end. Da 12:1-9 And he himself will build the temple of Jehovah, and he, for his part, will carry [the] dignity; and he must sit down and rule on his throne, and he must become a priest upon his throne, and the very counsel of peace will prove to be between both of them. Zec 6:13

Jesus knew that the Hebrew understanding of God was the correct one as Jesus is a Jew. So, what, exactly, did the Jews who lived at the time of Jesus believe about God? Really, what did Jesus believe about God? Finding the answer to this question will help us to "worship what we know" John 4:22 as Jesus did and this information can only be found in the Holy Scriptures. We can begin with a simple statement made by the prophet Habakkuk over 600 years before Jesus lived on earth. Are you not from long ago, O Jehovah? O my God, my Holy One, you do not die. Hab 1:12. This means that the God of the Jews existed before all times, He has always existed and will always exist. He never dies!

Other Scriptures that Jesus and the Jews believed about this basic understanding about God can be found in the following verses: Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel from time indefinite to time indefinite. Blessed may you be, O Jehovah the God of Israel our Father, from time indefinite even to time indefinite. 1 Chronicles 16:36; 29:10. Rise, bless Jehovah your God from time indefinite to time indefinite. Nehemiah 9:5 Remember your mercies, O Jehovah, and your loving-kindnesses, for they are from time indefinite. Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel from time indefinite even to time indefinite. Amen and Amen. Before the mountains themselves were born, or you proceeded to bring forth as with labor pains the earth and the productive land, even from time indefinite to time indefinite you are God. Your throne is firmly established from long ago; You are from time indefinite. But the loving-kindness of Jehovah is from time indefinite even to time indefinite. Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel From time indefinite even to time indefinite. Psalm 25:6; 41:13; 90:2; 93:2; 103:17; & 106:48

Let the name of God become blessed from time indefinite even to time indefinite, for wisdom and mightiness—for they belong to him. Daniel 2:20. When the Bible states that God is "from time indefinite even to time indefinite" it is really saying that God has forever existed in the past, He always exists in the present, and He will always exist in the future. Again, the basic thought about God is that He never dies! This is very important to understand. Why is this? Because the apostle Paul, guided by God's holy spirit tells us: Moreover, without faith it is impossible to please Him well, for he that approaches God must believe that he is and that he becomes the rewarder of those earnestly seeking him. Hebrews 11:6 Exactly who is this God that we must believe "is", that is to say that He exists, has always existed and will always exist.

When we find out something about a person and we want to know who that person is, What do we ask for? Is it not true that we ask for that person's name? This brings us to the basic wrong idea that most people have about God. Most people who worship God have given him the wrong name. If we want to "worship what we know" as Jesus said and some of the Jews did, we must give God the correct name. Let us reason through the following Scriptures to see what they are teaching us: That with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ro 15:6 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for he has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in union with Christ. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the accurate knowledge of him. Eph 1:3,17 We thank God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ always when we pray for you. Col 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. 1 Pe 1:3. Remember that Jesus told the non-Jewish woman: "We worship what we know". Therefore, Jesus worships the same God that we are supposed to worship. There is no place in the Bible that shows that Jesus worshiped himself. The wrong idea that most people have about God is that his name is Jesus. Jesus is not the God of the Jews and he is not the God we are told we should worship. Instead we are told to worship the God of Jesus as Jesus said: "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." John 4:24 Who, then is "the God of the Jews" Ro 3:29, "the God of Israel" Lu 1:68, and "the God of our Lord Jesus" Eph 1:17

"The God of our Lord Jesus" is spoken of as being the "the One who is and who was and who is coming" because He has always existed and will always exist. The Name of "The One True God Jehovah" means He who caused to become.

No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son of God who is in the bosom position with the Father is the one that has explained him. John 1:18.

The enemies of God did not like the way that Jesus explained God, so they killed him. The Scriptures tell us the following about "the first things" : For I handed on to you, among the first things, that which I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that he was buried, yes, that he has been raised up the third day according to the Scriptures. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Remember, the basis of understanding "the God of our Lord Jesus" is that He cannot die; yet, Jesus did die and was dead for three days before "the God of our Lord Jesus" raised him up. Therefore, Jesus cannot be God. What makes the death and resurrection of Jesus so outstanding is that the Bible says he is "the firstborn from the dead". That means that no one before him was resurrected like he was; he was the very first.

What does this tell us about Jesus? For the death that he died, he died with reference to sin once for all time; but the life that he lives, he lives with reference to God. Romans 6:10
